HI-TEC early registration deadline extended to May 31st!

HI-TEC conference (www.highimpact-tec.org) planners want you to have every opportunity and reason to attend the July 19-22 conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. So, the early registration deadline is being extended to May 31. This means you can save $50 if you register by that date.

Besides having an affordable registration, there are other great reasons to attend:

  • National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education (NSF-ATE) centers and projects are sharing their wealth of information in several high technology areas in a program that includes: Advanced Manufacturing Technologies • Agricultural, Environmental, and Energy Technologies • Biomanufacturing • Biotechnology • Engineering Technologies • Geospatial Technologies • Information, Communications, and Security Technologies • Learning and Evaluation • Micro- and Nanotechnologies • Optics and Photonics Technologies. The main conference is on July 21-22.
  • Several full-day and half-day preconference workshops and tours are available for concentrated learning on July 19-20. Not only are there several high tech topics, but one session will share how to access some of the over $50 million that is awarded for NSF- ATE projects and centers each year.
  • Many of the conference offerings are valuable learning opportunities for practicing technicians, as well as educators. If you are an educator with partners from business/industry, we suggest that you encourage some technicians and/or their supervisors to attend.
  • The HI-TEC conference is a great opportunity to network with others in the technologies of interest to you. There are several technologies that converge, and collaboration among these is very productive.

The above reasons to attend the HI-TEC conference are related to your fields of work and interest. However, don't forget that the Fairmont Scottsdale is a resort hotel with the low rate of $129 per night (plus tax) single or double. See hotel/travel/attractions for more information on the hotel and the Scottsdale/Phoenix area.

We hope to see you there!
